SUMMARY – Business Support Manager. Kitchen manufacturing Custom designs. Residential / Commercial. Established company. High-end Custom Designs. Ellerslie area Auckland. $70k/pa or $100k pa neg. Start ASAP.


A high-end kitchen manufacturing company based in Southeast Auckland, providing custom designs, manufacturing and installation services for both residential and commercial customers, are looking for a Business Support Manager, to help improve company productivity and support of sales, production and operations.


  • Develop customer facing, internal processes and standard forms, keeping them updated.
  • First point of customer contact for post sales introduction as key support person
  • Support Production and Operations managers with targeted back costing of projects
  • Co-ordinate weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings & agendas for managers & their teams.
  • Supporting managers to develop dashboards for monthly performance objectives and targets.
  • Preparation of monthly reports for sales/production and finance
  • Checking off invoices to orders, reconciling with receipt of goods and inputting into Xero
  • Maintaining up to date price lists from suppliers
  • Check individual project information is complete prior to CAD drawings.
  • Support tender response document pricing / proposal preparation.
  • Advising finance of project payments to invoices.
  • Review procurement process and order frequencies.
  • Check all orders have been placed for production.
  • Book transport from factory to site where required.
  • Maintain trade accounts, online access for ordering and records for team access.
  • Managing company vehicle logs, RUC’s and maintenance.
  • Assist to cover showroom meet and greet where required.
  • Oversee bookings for regular equipment maintenance in consultation with managers.
  • Booking photography, testimonials, updating website & social media
  • Ordering and maintaining of office supplies.
  • Manage branded apparel/uniforms for staff, stationery and signage.
  • Develop and maintain up to date health and safety documentation.
  • Oversee customer experience surveys / feedback, compiling monthly management report.
  • Reconciling petty cash Prepare gifts for clients at completion of projects.
  • Prepare final production pack for factory (cabinet makers) and installation.
  • Co-ordinate appliances, sub-trades and project timing and keep customers informed.
  • Manage waste removal for factory and site.


  • Experience and/or interest demonstrated in the manufacturing industry.
  • Able to prioritise workload of the greatest importance to a high standard.
  • Project management skills
  • Responsibly manage all business resources within accountability levels.
  • Be punctual and work the hours / times specified.
  • Support and help develop a positive workplace culture.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professionalism and strong work ethic & computer literacy
  • Teamwork and collaboration with critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Full clean NZ driver’s license
  • Must be living in NZ & have current eligibility to work in NZ.


Type:        Full time permanent position

Wage:       $48k/pa or $100k pa neg with skills & experience

Based:      Ellerslie area, Auckland
