PROJECT MANAGER : CABINETMAKING / CNC – Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead our kitchen manufacturing projects from conception to competition.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on delivering high-quality kitchen products on time and within budget.

You will be responsible for coordinating cross functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities:

Project planning and initiation:

  • Collaborative with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure alignment of project-goals with the overall business objectives.

Team Coordination:

  • Lead and coordinate cross functional project teams, including kitchen designers, CAD designers, manufacturing staff etc….
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to optimize performance.
  • Clearly communicate project expectations and provide direction to team members.

Budget and Resource Management

  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial constraints
  • Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet project milestones
  • Identify and address resource constraints or bottlenecks proactively.

Timelines and Milestone Tracking:

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, identifying critical path activities
  • Monitor progress against milestones and deadlines, taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Communicate project status updates to management regularly

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Proactively address challenges to keep the project on track.

Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee projects to establish and maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with design and manufacturing specifications.

Communication and reporting:

  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, including status, risks and recommended actions.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in project management, business or related field.
  2. Proven experience in project management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in kitchen manufacturing.
  3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  4. Ideally, proficient in Cabinet Vision / AutoCAD
  5. Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel & CRM systems (Zoho)
  7. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management
