Position ADMIN SUPPORT PERSON FOR PROJECTS MANAGERSHigh End Cabinetry

This Admin Support Person for Projects Managers position requires a well organise person, able to juggle, collate and manage a number of things all at one time, while being the admin support for 3 to 4 Projects Mangers in a fast-moving high-end cabinetmaking production, installation factory located on the North Shore. You will have established support is the role.

You do not need to be qualified in cabinetmaking, but do need to understand the industry and what is required in this role ie: being the Support Person for Projects Managers who will be doing all the groundwork, and bringing it to you to organise and allocate to where it needs to go etc., along with already in place various other levels of assistance and support.

This Cabinetmaking company design, make and install multi-million $$$ dollar kitchens and cabinetry interiors for homes throughout NZ, with Kitchens ranging from $50k to $150k

Overview below of what the role would be made up of –

This role will be fast moving, needs and well organises person and the rewards will come.

It will be interesting, involved top end designed multi-million-dollar kitchens and interiors.

  • You must have a sound and comprehensive understanding of the CABINETMAKING industry with a background in this or similar industry.
  • Be aware of cabinetmaking components is critical, such as hinges, handles etc.
  • Ordering of products and components.
  • Understand text and word CONTRACTS professionally – as related to cabinetmaking / project.
  • Understanding of PLANS including Architects PLANS.
  • Compiling QUOTES & VARIATIONS from information provided by Project Mgrs.
  • Understand & take quotes through entire process from design to quantifying, confirming etc.
  • There will be no COSTINGS involved. There is other support in these areas as well.
  • Need to be extremely well organized, efficient, capable, get on with people well.
  • The position needs someone who can understand and bring all of this together.

 Type:                    Full time permanent position

Wage:                   $36/hr neg with experience

Location:              North Shore, Auckland

Start:                    ASAP
