PROJECT MANAGER – CABINETRY / JOINERY
REQUIRMENTS
- Experience and passion for the Cabinetmaking industry; primarily custom designed cabinetry, joinery, doors. Cabinetry background essential.
- Ability to liaise professionally with clients, builders, interior designers and architects and have contacts in that world.
- Responsible for taking briefs, presenting ideas, able to quote and secure sign offs, variations and good bookwork (progress payments etc) site measures, marking up plans and effecting changes to those, bringing all parts of a job together to meet deadlines.
- Responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from start through to completion.
- Being able to deliver projects in full on time and in spec.
- Working closely with operations management to achieve deadlines and specific project objectives.
- Early recognition and resolution of issues.
- Good people skills.
- Good business awareness.
- Process optimisation.
