Refrigeration Engineer

Position purpose

The responsibility of the REFRIGERATION ENGINEER is providing, high quality diagnostic maintenance and installation of industrial & commercial refrigeration systems, in a professional manner that maintains and enhances customer relationships.

The position requires someone with experienced, it is not for someone looking for training.
The person should be in a position to train other staff members.

Key Skills required:

  • Refrigeration Trade with experience
  • Trade Qualifications in the Refrigeration industry
  • Current EST A & B Certification – now called EAS Electrical Appliance Services is a strong advantage
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in refrigeration engineering
  • Appropriate tools
  • A clean NZ Drivers License or clean current vehicle Driving License
  • Excellent English
  • A positive outgoing attitude

Average daily duties:

  • Service & Maintenance of all types of refrigeration and HVAC systems
  • Excellent remuneration based upon qualifications and experience
  • Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5/hr

Job Details:

Type:              Permanent full time position

Start:               ASAP

Wage:             $ excellent remuneration neg with skills & experience

Hours:            40 hours min Monday to Friday from 7.30 am – 4.00 pm

Overtime:       Overtime on roster paid time + ½

Location:        Hastings, Hawkes Bay area
