Project Engineer Sheetmetal

An established and well recognised leader in the Sheetmetal engineering industry require a Project / Mechanical Engineer Draftsperson.

A progressive, future orientated company operating from well-appointed premises in West Auckland, offering great working conditions, using the latest advances in manufacturing technology and equipment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Project Engineering management experience in the Sheetmetal industry
    (manufacturing sheetmetal products).This is a major requirement.
  • Drafting experienced is a must.
  • Very strong skills in AutoCAD, Inventor and or SolidWorks 3D.
  • Relevant Qualifications required such as NZCE or Diploma or Degree.
  • Exceptional organizational, draughting & engineering skills required.
  • Previous sheetmetal industry experience is very important.
  • Provide accurate & effective draughting & project management services.
  • Draughting & some Design.
  • Purchasing of raw material for production.
  • Authorise invoices for orders generated personally.
  • Submit quotations for future works.
  • Quoting Estimating & Sales.
  • Great communications skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Health & Safety.

 

Location:                    West Auckland

Remuneration:           $55 to $75K p.a. as per qualifications & experience
