PRODUCTION MIG WELDER
A modern West Auckland family owned, well-established company, manufacturing a variety of custom engineered products. They have a full-time position available for a Production MIG Welder, to join their team. Offering you competitive skills-based salary & overtime with good working conditions in a friendly environment.
The job involves:
- Production MIG welding.
- Light Gauge.
- Ability to measure & cut.
- Weld accurately, with precision & good finish.
- Interpreting & reading engineering drawings.
- Cutting steel & other workshop duties as required.
- No welding tickets required.
- Pass a basic welding test & start immediately.
Requirements for the job:
- Following the procedures and working to schedules.
- Competent with a variety of power tools & machinery.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Good Numeracy, verbal and written English skills.
- Strong work ethic, taking pride in your work & self-motivated.
- Medically and physically fit with a full clean NZ Driver’s license.
- Currently living in and have the right to work in NZ (incl. NZ Work Visa)
Wage: $25-$29/h neg with skills & experience
Plus: Overtime (1½ when available)
Shift: Day Shift
Type: Full time permanent position
Based: West Auckland
