They have a full-time position Engineering Workshop Hand available for an eager person.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic Engineering Workshop Duties
- Take accurate & work out measurements.
- Read & work from drawings.
- Tapping, drilling, gluing & cutting metal etc.
- Working with hand tools
- Some machinery operation
- Work collaboratively within Production team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Loading and Offloading trucks with forklift
Key to the success & growth in this role:
- Enthusiastic about Engineering industry
- Basic workshop experience
- Mechanically minded.
- Willingness to take on challenges.
- Previous Spray painting a bonus (prepping, bogging, gluing, cleaning & setting up paint area – this will be taught on the job)
- Understand expectations of high work standards
- Ability to follow processes with strong attention to detail
- Basic computer knowledge
- Work effectively under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Good level of fitness as can be physically demanding.
- Adhere to safety & quality requirements.
- Good attitude & communication skills are a must.
- Forklift License ideal but not necessary.
Note – Applicants for this position must currently be living in & legally able to work in New Zealand
Job Details:
Salary: $30/hr neg with skills
Hours: 40hrs min/week – Day Shift
Misc: Medical scheme & overtime if available
Type: Fulltime Permanent job
Location: North Shore, Auckland
Misc.: Free onsite parking & Overtime (1½) when available
