Job Requirements
- Proven experience setting & operating CNC Press Brakes in manufacturing environment
- Folding of various types of Sheetmetal such as Mild & Stainless Steel
- Capable of reading & working with Drawings
- Strong organisational skills & ability to work unsupervised.
- Previous experience operating Amada CNC Press Brakes important
- Forklift certification (or willingness to train).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

The Role:
What You’ll Be Doing is a key, hands-on role perfect for a professional who thrives on variety and takes pride in delivering flawless results. Your core focus will include:
- Advanced Manufacturing & Assembly: Creating and constructing bespoke joinery to the highest aesthetic and structural standards.
- Blum System Integration (Essential): Expert fitting, adjustment, and troubleshooting of the entire Blum hardware suite is mandatory.
- CNC Operation (Highly Desired): While the focus is on superior fit and finish, experience with running advanced CNC machinery (e.g., nesting, edge-banding) is a significant advantage.
- Final Quality Assurance: Acting as a final checkpoint to ensure all fabricated components meet stringent quality specifications before installation.
- Technical Interpretation: Accurately interpreting complex architectural drawings and technical specifications for high-value residential builds.

Essential Requirements:
- Extensive Experience: Proven, hands-on experience as a cabinetmaker, with the skills to produce high-end residential joinery independently.

- Skilled & Versatile: Expert knowledge of various materials and techniques used in modern cabinetry and joinery.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring a flawless finish on every piece.
- Problem Solver: Ability to anticipate and resolve construction and assembly challenges effectively.
- Reliability & Team Player: Punctual, dependable, and able to communicate and work collaboratively with the wider production team.
- Eligibility to Work: You must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident, or have a valid, current New Zealand Work Visa that allows you to work full-time.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English (verbal and written) to clearly communicate with the team, understand complex plans, and follow safety instructions.

Do you have experience in CAD Detailing Joinery Projects? We have a vacancy for an experienced Cabinet Vision DETAILER with a good knowledge of joinery construction processes, to join our Production team.
Liaising directly with the sales team & clients, to create custom cabinetry solutions on a project-by-project basis, with the cabinetry being primarily custom designed bespoke kitchens, laundries, interiors.
Cabinet Vision Software skills or similar & ability to be trained up in this software are important.

- Ongoing regular communication with clients, suppliers, joinery teams, shop foreman etc.
About you:
- Experience in Cabinetmaking and Joinery
- Experience / knowledge in Cabinet Vision software
- Strong skillset to liaise with clients and suppliers and deliver on time frames.
- Committed to best practice from the initial meeting right through to manufacturing & detailing.
- You will be an autonomous worker who also works well within a team.
