FABRICATOR WELDER

A well-established Auckland company, manufacturing & installing high quality fabricated signage & billboards throughout NZ, are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder with proven hands-on experience, to join their growing team.

Skill based requirements we are looking for:

• MIG / TIG / ARC welding various fabricated parts.

• Mild Steel & Stainless Steel.

• Installing, repairing & inspecting components

• Interpret & read engineering drawings.

• Determine required equipment / welding method.

• Develop templates to hold & align parts.

• Cutting, grinding & other workshop duties

• Assist with fabrication in workshop if required.

• Both Site & Workshop, able to travel.

Requirements for the job:

• 3 years hands-on Welding experience

• Current welding tickets a bonus

• Able to weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

• Weld accurately, with precision & a good finish

• Ability to measure / cut accurately / weld neatly.

• Competent with a variety of hand, power tools & machinery

• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

• Good Numeracy, verbal and written English skills.

• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, taking pride in your work.

• Medically and physically fit

• Full clean NZ Driver’s license.

• Demonstrate & maintain good Health & Safety

• Currently living in and have the right to work in NZ

Wage: Competitive $35/hr to $42/hr rate neg with skills & experience & qualifications

Permanent full time job 40 hours per week

Plus: Overtime (when available)

Hours: Min 40 hrs/week – Mon-Fri : 7 am to 3.15 pm

Type: Full time permanent position

Based: West Auckland
