WELDER FABRICATOR

 

A North Shore world renown modern, fast paced a well-established international engineering manufacturing company, manufacturing a variety of precision CNC engineering machinery and multi process machines, have a full-time position available for a MIG Welder Fabricator, offering you competitive skills-based salary, medical scheme & overtime with good working conditions in a friendly environment.

 

The job involves:

  • Minimum 3 years hands on MIG Welding experience within NZ
  • Production MIG welding (95% MIG & 5% TIG)
  • Light Gauge Mild Steel from 1.2mm-10mm
  • Large assembly fabrication experience advantageous
  • Interpreting engineering drawings
  • Working unassisted producing quality work
  • Maintaining good Health & Safety practices

 

Requirements for the job:

  • Competent with a variety of power tools & machinery
  • Trade Qualified or equivalent experience
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Good Numeracy, verbal and written English skills
  • Strong work ethic, taking pride in your work & self-motivated
  • Medically and physically fit with a full clean NZ Driver’s license
  • Currently living in and have the right to work in NZ (incl. NZ Work Visa)

 

Type         Full time permanent position

Wage        $25-$38/hr neg with skills & experience

Misc          Medical scheme & overtime available

Based       North Shore, Auckland
