CNC in cabinetmaking industry, hands on & supervising one or two CNC Op staff, located in South Auckland. Machining wood squares. No actual cabinetry or joinery.

The position would suit someone who is looking for a slower pace, opening and closing factory, keeping things ticking over. A small operation, not too busy. Perm $34/hr neg. ASAP or early 2025.

CNC Operating

Established cabinetmaking employer has small wood / CNC factory requires a hands on Supervisor of one or two workers. The factory is currently in West Auckland and 2025 will be relocating to Papakura area.

Factory operating basic edge banding / CNC machines, with one or two junior workers under your supervision, and you would be responsible for looking after the machines, overseeing the worker.
It is basic work, not too busy, and generally an easy pace.

You will be responsible for opening and closing the small factory daily and deal directly with owners
(who are off site) as required, but a lot of the time it will be you looking after the factory yourself,
which is well set up and has the backing of the main factory.

Daily duties include:

• Cabinetmaking & Operating CNC Machines, turning out wood squares and similar.

• Demonstrate woodworking skills & use hand tools

Requirements:

• Experience operating CNC Edgebander & Beam Saw
• Clear fluent English required
• Follow all health & safety practices
• Medically & physically fit
• Eligible to legally work in NZ

Benefits:

Wage $34/hr Negotiable with experience & skill sets meeting above
Misc Overtime available as the need arises
