CNC EDGEBANDER OP

 

An established South Auckland / Wiri manufacturing company, who are the leading supplier of customised wardrobe & storage solutions are  looking for an experienced CNC Edgebander Operator, who can work in a busy, fast-paced role that requires a cool head with the ability to work across machines and with people.

 

Daily duties include:

  • Operating CNC Machines, supporting Manufacturing
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Work with jobs from pre-prepared drawing file to final product
  • Demonstrate good woodworking skills & use hand tools
  • Can switch priorities (lend a hand elsewhere when needed)
  • Receiving, labelling, packing & managing stock
  • General housekeeping & other tasks

 

Requirements:

  • Ideally have 3 years’ experience operating CNC Edgebander in Joinery/Furniture industry
  • Read and work from plans, drawings / blueprints
  • Work unassisted and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail & accuracy are important
  • Clear fluent English must be spoken in order to follow instructions
  • Follow all health & safety practices
  • Medically & physically fit, as some heavy lifting involved
  • Forklift Licence an advantage
  • Eligible to legally work in NZ

Wage              Neg based on experience & skill sets meeting above
